Interesting CCTV Renderings

So here I am, just browsing around the internet and I stumble across these renderings of the CCTV tower in Beijing. I fell in love with them on first sight. I am sure most of us have seen our fair share of renderings of this project – but these are on a different level that situates itself between the photo realistic rendering and the computer illustration.

I am not sure of who produced these renderings, so feel free to enlighten me if you know. It’s a wonderful step back from the true photo realism many of us strive for. The images are simple but complex at the same time. Wonderful!
